Jeju announced on the 28th of June, the result of Jeju tangerine's annual distribution process, the gross income was 764.1 billion won. This is a 14.3% increase compared to 2010. The analysis is that continued appropriate production and quality control made these results. The reason for the sudden increase of Jeju tangerine gross income is that good prices through strict quality control and high quality tangerine production for the stable production of factory farms and producer groups. In addition, enhanced price competitiveness against imported oranges through the quality differentiation also boost the gross income and had induced equalization of its quality of based APC business. Jeju Island is planning production of high sugar content, and through the increase of 10 thousand tons of tangerine exports, expects 800 billion gross income of the tangerine period.
