International Transfer on the Jeju-Incheon route for foreign tourists with no entry visas is expected to started before the end of August. In accordance with the aircraft only used in transfers for operating international flights, the check-in and entry is done at the International Terminal. Passengers entering Jeju through Incheon International Airport can transfer to their international flight and can go through customs, immigration, and quarantine procedures at Jeju Airport. Passengers going through Incheon International Airport from Jeju can transfer at Incheon International Airport after check in processing. In addition, as the Department of Justice operates a Visa improvement system starting from August 1st, Jeju is expected to be no-visa entry location and transit-only flights will be conducted as early as the end of August. Meanwhile, the Incheon - Busan transit only flights, with a total amount of 58,000 passengers, are increasing over the three months and about with 783 people on average a day since June. Moreover, transit time was shortened from 80 min to 45 minutes, entry time to 45 minutes, and 15 minutes from an original 60 minutes in departure formalities.
