A career center for women opens in Jeju

Jeju Special Self-governing Province has opened a job center for women on March 18th. The employment center will be specifically used for providing more employment opportunitiesto Jeju women. The Jeju government said that there are many valuable women workers who stopped their career after they got married or as they were faced with child-rearing responsibilities and household chores. So there will be special programs to help those women get back on the track to re-start their career. The new job center will give employment advice and train prospective employees on various skills. It will also help them land internships. The new Jeju Women's Employment Center is part of the government's effort to create jobs.
