  • Multicultural Family Support Services
    There are 200 multicultural family support centers in Korea. The centers were established to help immigrant wives or husbands and their families to better adapt to living in Korea. The center provides Korean language education to immigrants, education about different cultures and family, individual and family counseling services as well as life skills training. The center also offers bilingual education for children from multicultural families.

    -Programs to improve children’s learning ability
    -Programs for children’s language development
    -Bilingual education class -Language classes for children from multicultural families -College student mentor program for kids from multicultural families

    Life skills training

    -Volunteer work
    -Programs for getting a job or starting business
    -Immigrants can work as a language teacher, or an interpreter or translator

    Improvement of Awareness of Different Cultures

    • Each region has the center which is open from 9:00AM to 6:00PM from Monday to Friday.
