The scope of activities and employment opportunities for foreigners in Korea is relatively broad, but activities and period of stay can be limited due to the type of visa issued. When looking for employment opportunities in Korea, foreigners must obtain the proper visa status and are limited to working for the employer specified in their visa application.
When looking to change a place of employment foreigners have to notify the Seoul Immigration Office and obtain permission to do so in advance.
