Jeju Health Care Town has entered into an agreement with a Canadian hospital to build a pediatric center on the island. On Tuesday, the Jeju Free International City Development Center, or JDC, signed an agreement with the Hospital for Sick Children, located in Toronto, Canada. This agreement follows the JDC’s promotional visits to North America last fall. when the hospital, also known as the SickKids Hospital, first showed interest in Jeju’s cleanliness and investor-friendly environment. This agreement is expected to help the Jeju Free International City Development Center introduce world-class management systems and advanced medical technology to the island. Meanwhile, the Hospital for Sick Children is a leading pediatric center that is affiliated with the University of Toronto. It was established in 1875 and deals specifically in the treatment of young people up to the age of 18. It offers a variety of different services, ranging from traditional medical care to palliative and bereavement care as well as interpreter services.
